Terms of Service

By creating an account or using this platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the platform. These terms form a legally binding agreement between you and the organisation operating this MemberBridge instance.

Membership dues are set by your organisation and are payable annually unless otherwise specified. By agreeing to a membership, you authorise the organisation to issue annual invoices for renewal dues. Memberships are non-transferable.

Refunds of membership dues are at the discretion of the organisation. Please contact the organisation directly for refund requests.

4. Event Registrations

Event registration fees, once paid, are generally non-refundable unless the event is cancelled by the organisation. Cancellation policies specific to each event will be stated on the event registration page. The organisation reserves the right to decline or cancel registrations at its discretion.

Your use of this platform is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. By using the platform, you consent to the collection and use of your information as described in the Privacy Policy.

7. Payments & Security

All payment processing is handled by Stripe, a PCI-DSS compliant payment processor. We do not store your full credit card number. By making a payment, you agree to Stripe's terms of service available at stripe.com/terms. All prices are in Canadian dollars (CAD) unless otherwise stated.

You retain ownership of the personal information you provide. The organisation is granted a limited licence to use that information solely for the purposes of operating your membership and communicating with you as described in the Privacy Policy. You may request deletion of your data at any time.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable Canadian law, the organisation and MemberBridge shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform. Our total liability to you for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid in membership dues in the 12 months preceding the claim.

10. Modifications

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes at least 30 days in advance by email or platform notice. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Ontario.
